BELAZ receives top award at the contest “Product of the year -2017”

The project “BELAZ – brand of Belarus“ was awarded the first prize at the Republican Contest of customer’s preference in the category “Tourism“.
Industrial tourism is a modern trend in tourism services. The project “BELAZ – brand of Belarus“, which was created in 2015 became popular not only in our country but also abroad. During this period more than 40 000 of tourists from 26 countries have visited OJSC “BELAZ“: Spain, Italy, France, Norway, USA, Great Britain, Lebanon, Jordan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation.
BELAZ plant offers an opportunity not only to see the trucks of unique capabilities and sizes but also become acquainted with the production process, make a photo in front of BELAZ-75710 – the biggest dump truck in the world registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The drive in 240t mining dump truck, the certificate for which can be purchased at the plant, is very popular among the tourists.
The museum specialists acquaint the guests with glorious history of the plant and modern achievements of BELAZ - one of the largest manufacturers of mining equipment. Photo exhibition shows the main construction stages, plant modernization and its modern design. The models of all BELAZ dump trucks exhibited in the museum are very popular among the guests.
The main goal of such projects is to interest each tourist. That is why the excursions are made taking into account individual requirements and age of the tourists. There are numerous special events that are arranged within the project of industrial tourism. It became a tradition to make promotional events devoted to St. Valentine’s Day, Defender of the Fatherland day, International Women’s Day, Children’s Day etc. On 24 May, 2017 BELAZ for the first time conducted the promotional event “BELAZ connects hearts: there was a marriage registration on the deck of 360t mining dump truck.
Year by year, industrial tourism at BELAZ plant is developed and improved in order to provide the tourists with services of high-quality as well as to promote “BELAZ“ brand in the region, country and world.
