Russian mining companies are increasing the efficiency, productivity, and safety of their operations by adding modern ultra-heavy BELAZ dump trucks to their equipment fleet.

The commissioning of new high-performance equipment is always an important event for miners. Buryat coal-miners held a ceremony to mark the arrival of new mining dump trucks. The trucks include 5 BELAZ-7530G models with a payload capacity of 220 tons and 2 BELAZ-7513D models with a payload capacity of 130 tons. These vehicles will transport overburden from the upper horizons of one of the largest coal mines in the Republic of Buryatia which is engaged in the development of the Nikolskoye coal deposit.

The enterprise heads cut the red ribbon in front of the new quarry equipment and congratulated the team. “Modern equipment, new BELAZ dump trucks, that are engaged in the mine’s operation, meets industry standards and optimizes production rates. It also ensures high productivity, safe operation and comfortable working conditions. Commissioning new equipment will help us implement production tasks to the fullest extent.”

The crew chiefs of the most experienced BELAZ operator crews were given symbolic keys to the new vehicles and memorable gifts.

Our flagship dump trucks, BELAZ-7530 and BELAZ-7513, make up the majority of the mining and transportation fleet at the open-pit mine. Buryat coal miners are well aware of their capabilities. Dump trucks with a payload capacity of 220 and 130 tons, which have excellent technical characteristics and high performance indicators, are ideal for the climatic conditions of Siberia and meet the customer's requirements to the fullest extent possible.
