The BELAZ-7555M dump truck is a promising addition to the class of mining equipment with payload capacity of 55-60 tonnes. The modified version of the classic 55-tonne dump truck features an engine from an alternative manufacturer and new technical solutions that improve the machine's performance.

The updated 55-tonne dump truck has an economical diesel engine with an output of 522 kW / 700 hp and a modernised drive axle, which provides increased operating life of gears and bearings due to the rigid design of main gear pinions and application of a more rational scheme of bearing installation. In addition, the hydromechanical gearbox, which is usual for the machines of this "weight category", in the experimental dump truck with the index 7555M is equipped with a new electro-hydraulic automatic control system, which showed good results in the tests.

The dump truck withstands high dynamic and static loads and is designed to transport various types of rock mass in difficult conditions of open-pit mining of mineral deposits.

BELAZ-7555M is equipped with a number of modern on-board systems and options: tyre pressure control, automatic fire extinguishing, all-round video surveillance, body load and fuel consumption monitoring sensors, high voltage line proximity alarm, air conditioning and heating unit, etc.

The new model of 55-tonne truck has completed the stage of acceptance tests at the factory test site with all necessary revisions of the design documentation and prototype of the dump truck.
