29-30 of September in BELAZ Forum “BELAZ-2022 Digitalization and ecological friendliness – growth drivers in Russia mining industry" took place.

The event gathered over 250 partners – Russian Federation mining companies’ representatives and supplier companies.

The first day of Forum began with demonstration of BELAZ robotized equipment operation within the intellectual quarry on “Sitnitskaye” test site.

After that, guests expected the sport event – friendly match between team of plant’s workers - “BELAZ” and customers – “Miners” on the “Torpedo” stadium in Zhodino. During tough and interesting game “BELAZ” won 7:5.

The next day Forum were as much interesting and busy as a previous. It began with show of the equipment and display on LCD its main characteristics and advantages. Beside classic mining dump trucks, Forum’s guests also got acquainted with innovative equipment: gas dump trucks, diesel trolley-truck, dump truck powered by battery packs, hybrid dump truck.

After that, the participants of event went to the palace of culture of BELAZ, where strategic session took place, on that session hot trends of mining industry development and creation of BELAZ innovative equipment in two main directions – digitalization and ecological friendliness were discussed.  

General Director of OJSC “BELAZ” Siarhey Nikifarovich noticed the importance of cooperation and cooperative work with main customers of our plant – Russian miners:

–  Russian market is still remains as priority for BELAZ. Only this year over 900 heavy trucks will be sent there. I can surely say that order book is formed for next year. In addition, the volumes of industrial production and implementation of products will be higher than this year.
