BELAZ and mining enterprises of the Amur region intend to increase mutually beneficial cooperation

This was discussed during the business visit of the government delegation of the Amur region, which visited BELAZ on July 22. It was headed by Oleg Turkov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of this Far Eastern region of Russia.

Our company and the companies of the Amur region are linked by many years of fruitful ties and mutual interests. The economy of the region is dominated by the fuel and raw materials industries, in particular, the mining and gold mining.

Today BELAZ equipment operates at 11 mining enterprises in the Amur region. Their fleet as a whole consists of 169 dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 30 to 130 tons. In 2023, 27 heavy trucks were shipped to the region, and in the first half of this year - another 12 dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 55-90 tons. The supply of four 130-ton mining dump trucks to the Amur region is also being worked out.

At BELAZ, guests from the Far Eastern region were introduced to the history and production capacities of the plant, the assembly process and the model range of manufactured equipment.

The delegation was particularly impressed by the 90-ton electric dump truck BELAZ-7558E, a special test drive of which was organized for guests at the plant’s testing site.

“It’s a very good dump truck,” noted the head of the Amur Region delegation, Oleg Turkov, assessing the 90-ton battery-powered dump truck. – You produce decent, competitive equipment that is in demand on the world market. Mining enterprises in the Amur region also have plans to purchase BELAZ mining dump trucks, and I am sure that they will be implemented.
