On July 8, the BELAZ delegation began its work at the main industrial and export site in Russia - the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM-2024 in Ekaterinburg. Its key theme this year is technology partnership.

The bright stand of our company at the Ekaterinburg-EXPO exhibition center with an information-rich exposition has attracted the attention of exhibition visitors and the media from the very opening.

The head of BELAZ spoke about the directions of development of quarry equipment, prototypes of machines using alternative energy sources, promising markets for products and the immediate plans of our company.

– If we talk about vehicles running on liquefied natural gas, then we have a current fleet of 11 mining dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 90 tons, operating in the Kemerovo region. Our 130 ton LNG dump truck is currently in the commissioning phase. Next year there are plans to produce a prototype of a gas dump truck with a lifting capacity of 220 tons. Thus, we will close the main line of equipment that is used in the Kemerovo region for coal mining, and will be able to offer it to other regions. And the effect is not only economic, but also environmental: emissions from burning natural gas are significantly lower than diesel fuel, which also affects the productivity of quarries, since there is less downtime due to smoke inside the quarry, emphasized Sergei Lesin, General Director of BELAZ, in interview with the Russian business television channel «RBC».

The BELAZ delegation has a lot of work ahead – participation in INNOPROM’s business events, as well as a number of important meetings and negotiations.

It is already known that among the VIP speakers invited to the main strategic session “Technological partnership: in the spotlight of international industry”, scheduled for July 9, are the prime ministers of Russia, Belarus and Tajikistan Mikhail Mishustin, Roman Golovchenko and Kohir Rasulzoda, the ministers of industry of Russia and the UAE, as well as heads of major companies, including BELAZ General Director Sergei Lesin.

On the third day of the exhibition, June 10, top managers of our company will take part in the annual forum of component manufacturers.

INNOPROM-2024 in Ekaterinburg will continue its work until July 11.
