On July 11, the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM-2024 ended. Representatives of BELAZ took part in key business events of the exhibition in Ekaterinburg, held a series of business negotiations and signed agreements of intent for the supply of more than 50 units of equipment.

A tripartite partnership and strategic cooperation agreement was concluded with «Uralasbest» PJSC. The document was signed by the General Director of BELAZ Sergey Lesin, the General Director of «Uralasbest» Yuri Kozlov, as well as Sergey Dzyubenko, the manager of the «Beltranslogistic» company, our official representative in the Ural.

The agreement provides for servicing of BELAZ mining equipment operating at the Ural enterprise.

One of the key events of the INNOPROM-2024 business program was the main strategic session “Technological partnership: the focus of international industry” with the participation of heads of government and ministries of Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the UAE, as well as business representatives. BELAZ General Director Sergei Lesin also took part in the discussion. He shared our company’s experience in overcoming challenges, which allowed the company to more boldly introduce innovations, and noted the important role of partnerships in this.

– We are now implementing innovative projects faster, related both to the development of the production of components that replace those that we purchased from unfriendly countries, and to the creation of fundamentally new equipment. If two years ago it was a 90-ton dump truck running on liquefied natural gas, this year we introduced a 130-ton mining dump truck running on gas. And the prospect is 220 tons in 2026. That is, we will equip the entire line of large vehicles with systems that allow the use of this type of more environmentally friendly and economical fuel. All this would have been impossible if not for close technological cooperation with our partners,” summed up Sergei Lesin.

The annual forum of component manufacturers with its excellent opportunities for establishing direct business connections and useful contacts has also become an effective negotiation platform on the INNOPROM fields for BELAZ.

As part of the exhibition in Ekaterinburg with the participation of BELAZ, the 6th meeting of the joint working group of the government of the Sverdlovsk region and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus was held. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Industry of Belarus Alexander Efimov and the Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexey Shmykov. Our company was represented by Deputy General Director for Strategic Development and Corporate Management Alexey Grachev.

The parties discussed the progress of the project to create the first joint venture in Belarus to produce hydraulic pumps. Let us remind you that the joint venture is being created with the participation of BELAZ and JSC «Pnevmostroymashina», the Russian leader in this segment.

During the four days of the exhibition, BELAZ's stand became a place of attraction for many visitors, both high-ranking officials and ordinary fans of big machines. The guests' attention was drawn to innovative solutions, new BELAZ equipment and successful partnership projects of the company aimed at developing the mining industry.
