Journalists from China, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan visited our enterprise on July 8 as part of a week-long introductory press tour to Belarus.

The guests got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise and its products, visited the museum and production workshops, and saw how the famous Belarusian mining dump trucks are assembled.

BELAZ General Designer Alexander Naskovets told media representatives about the latest developments and promising areas of development of our company. Journalists were interested in the advantages of new models of BELAZ equipment, innovative technologies introduced in production, principles of interaction and experience of cooperation with consumers of our equipment.

A demonstration test drive of a 90-ton BELAZ-7558E electric dump truck powered by traction batteries was conducted in front of the lenses of cameras at the factory test site.

Journalists highly appreciated the level of technical equipment and potential of the global manufacturer of quarry equipment and were very impressed by BELAZ dump trucks.

– I was very surprised how smoothly the electric BELAZ moved. The car impressed me. The dump truck is easy to control,” Ekaterina Tokombaeva, a correspondent for the TV-15 Kyrgyzstan channel, shared her emotions. “We talked to the driver and saw the inside of the cabin. It is very comfortable for the operator to work; it has air conditioning, a soft chair and everything necessary for work.

For foreign journalists, a visit to BELAZ is one of the points in a rich program of getting to know our country. They will stay in Belarus until June 12.
