A look through the lens: BELAZ became one of the main addresses of the large-scale press tour of the Union media

More than three dozen journalists from leading Russian media outlets have timed their current visit to our country to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State.

At BELAZ, representatives of the Union media, and these are the ««Multimedia information center» Izvestia», «Soyuznoye Veche», «Komsomolskaya Pravda», «Vedomosti», the television companies «Russia 24», «National Television», «BelRos», the Internet portals «soyuz.by», «Ridus» and others, first of all took a trip into the past, learning the most interesting facts from the history of the plant, which today produces the widest range of quarry dump trucks in the world with a load capacity of 30 to 450 tons.

The guests were told about the large-scale modernization that is taking place at the production facilities of the enterprise, and were shown the working days of the assembly line of equipment. For many, it was a revelation that BELAZ is the only global manufacturer that produces such large quarry machines using a conveyor method.

Well, the most unforgettable emotions were experienced by the participants of the media tour at the exhibition area of the production of super-heavy vehicles. There were many impressions from the dimensions and power of the multi-ton giants produced by BELAZ. In addition, one of our new products - the 120-ton electric dump truck BELAZ-7513E, running on batteries, demonstrated the advantages of battery-powered equipment especially for the guests on the move.

Leonid Trukhnov, First Deputy General Designer of BELAZ and Chief Designer for Quarry Equipment, told the media about the advantages and prospects of innovative BELAZ equipment using alternative energy sources – electricity, liquefied natural gas, hydrogen fuel, close cooperation with Russian partner companies and the progress of implementing allied investment projects.

The press tour participants thanked BELAZ for its openness and hospitality and noted that they had collected a wealth of material for reports and publications based on the results of their current visit to Belarus.
