In November BELAZ’s representatives have made presentations on the ecological friendly equipment at two events at once.
On November 17-18 Deputy Chief Engineer Pavel Matveev told about “green” developments of BELAZ at the 11th International Conference “Mining Industry of Barents Euro-Arctic Region: a look into the future” in Kirovsk (Murmansk region). The conference annually discusses the problems and prospects for the development of the mining industry, exchanges experience between enterprises for the extraction and processing of solid minerals in the Arctic zone.
On November 22-24 service director of BELAZ Trading House (official representative of OJSC “BELAZ” in the Russian Federation) – Boris Gorbunov has presented mining dump trucks operating on alternative energy sources in Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk region). This is where the mining forum “Mine of the Future” took place, that was devoted to environmental issues of the mining industry and reducing the negative impact of mining enterprises on the environment.
Concern for the environment and “green” technologies are one of the key areas of BELAZ's innovative activities.
