Mariev comes from the generation of those who are rightly called creators. All his life he took responsibility - for the present and the future of people, enterprise and vehicles. For Pavel Lukyanovich, the BELAZ team was a big family and still is. After all, even after a well-deserved retirement, he is still actively involved in the life of the native plant, a member of the supervisory board of the holding.

On June 14, President of Belarus Aliaksandr Lukashenka congratulated Pavel Mariyev on his jubilee. In his address, the head of state emphasized that Pavel Lukyanovich was the head of BELAZ in the difficult 1990s and managed to do almost the impossible: not only to preserve the enterprise and its unique team, but also to give a new impetus to the development of the plant, to bring production of mining equipment to the leading positions in the world market.

Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and Minister of Industry Alexander Rogozhnik also sent their congratulation addresses to the jubilee. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchyk and representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Zhodino City Executive Committee, friends and colleagues came to congratulate Pavel Mariyev that day.

of inexhaustible energy and dedication. Under your leadership, large-scale, ambitious investment projects were implemented, new technologies were introduced. You have created the foundation for today's success of our company. We pledge that we will keep the level that was set," emphasized Sergey Nikiforovich, General Director of BELAZ, at the ceremony.

Noting special merits before the society, long and flawless work, worthy personal contribution to the development of the enterprise, participation in research, inventive work and in connection with the 85th anniversary of Pavel Lukyanovich Mariyev was awarded the title "Honored Worker of BELAZ" with the presentation of a badge, as well as a commendation from the Ministry of Industry.

- BELAZ for me is the joy of successes and the bitterness of failures, the constant concern and anxiety for its development, the victories and awards - all this is our company, which the whole country is proud of. BELAZ has a glorious history, and I am confident in its great future. I wish the plant the greatest successes, victories and achievements," said the birthday celebrant in his response.

Pavel Mariev is an honorary citizen of Zhodino and the Minsk region, the author and co-author of several scientific works, inventor's certificates and patents. He was awarded the "Badge of Honor," Order of Friendship of Peoples, Order of Fatherland III degree, Honorary Diploma of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, and medals.
