The Russian delegation of Gazprom group, led by Vitaly Markelov Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom has visited BELAZ, October 3, as a part of a working visit to our Country.

During a business meeting with the General Director of BELAZ Sergei Nikiforovich, the parties reviewed priority areas in the field of import substitution and discussed advanced innovative developments of BELAZ in the field of natural gas implementation as motor fuel for mining equipment.

The Russian delegation has a look at the lead production sites of our company. The guests were interested in the progress of modernization of the enterprise, the characteristic properties of assembling mining equipment, and the geography of export shipments. The models of innovative BELAZ mining equipment, including the dump truck powered by natural gas were presented to Deputy Head of PJSC Gazprom Vitaly Markelov.

After the introductory part of the visit, at our enterprise was held a meeting on the issues of cooperation between PJSC Gazprom and Belarusian enterprises with participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of our country, Petr Parkhomchik. The issues of Belarusian manufacturers participation in procurement for the needs of the Gazprom group, the development of the country’s gas transport system and innovation of the domestic mechanical engineering flagships in the field of gas fuel implementation were discussed.
