In the mechanical assembly shop No. 1, an automated tunnel-type wash machine with software control has been put into operation.

Using a cleaning solution under pressure, it effectively cleans body parts, gears of motor-wheel reducers components of the brake system of dump trucks from oil, small chips, dust and other contaminants formed after turning and milling.

The operating principle of the new machine is extremely simple: parts move along the tunnel conveyor, passing through three stages - degreasing, rinsing and final drying with hot air, eliminating the possibility of corrosion of the product. The average time of movement of a part from the loading zone to the unloading zone is 5-7 minutes. The throughput per shift is 30 motor-wheel reducers crown gears, more than 100 satellites and 20 other products.

The automated washing unit ensures a consistently high quality of the washing and drying process of products before their further dispatch through the production cycle, reduces time costs, and also improves working conditions and production culture.

The new equipment meets high environmental safety standards. Thanks to the built-in cleaning system, the machine filters the waste solution from solid particles.
