At the International specialized exhibition of technologies and mining developments “Coal of Russia and Mining-2025”, held on June 3-6 in Novokuznetsk, BELAZ company presented a unique novelty - its first heavy mining grader BELAZ-79770. Right from the exposition site, the 70-ton vehicle will be sent to Kuzbassrazrezugol for testing.

The BELAZ exposition at the heavy equipment site of the Kuzbass Fairgrounds was visited by Ilya Seredyuk, Governor of the Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass, Petr Bobylev, Director of the Coal Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and other officials.

Sergey Lesin, General Director of BELAZ company, told the guests of the exposition about the creation of BelAZ's first mining grader, serial production and innovative equipment, close cooperation with Russian partners. During the conversation, Governor Ilya Seredyuk emphasized that any plans of BELAZ contributing to the development of the service and production area will be supported by the Government of Kuzbass.

The grader for mining works is a new type of mining vehicles for BELAZ, which expands the range of special-purpose vehicles for servicing mining works. The novelty is equipped with an energy-efficient 600-horsepower diesel engine and a large grader blade with a width of more than 7 meters made of high-strength steel, which allows for a loosening depth of up to 455 mm. In general, there are only two manufacturers of this type of vehicle in the world. BELAZ became the third.

It is planned that the tests of the first model of BELAZ grader will take place in the Kemerovo region during the year. BELAZ-79770 will equip and improve access and technological roads for mining equipment at one of the coal mines.

During the tests, the heavy grader will confirm the reliability and high performance characteristics established by the engineers of the BELAZ Research Center, demonstrating its efficiency even in the most difficult conditions of harsh winters and steaming hot summers. Cooperation with Kuzbassrazrezugol has been going on for almost 60 years. And all these decades the production sites of the coal company are the important testing ground for testing and improving BELAZ equipment.

In general, during four days of productive work at the exhibition “Coal of Russia and Mining-2025”, BELAZ delegation took part in the interactive session and plenary talks of the forum's business program, held a large number of meetings and negotiations on cooperation and the implementation of joint projects with both existing and new partners from Russian regions. As a result, a number of strategic agreements were signed.
