For the first time BELAZ participates in this large-scale industrial exhibition in a new status - the general partner of the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus.

The exhibits of the BELAZ stand at the Ekaterinburg EXPO exhibition center - large-scale models of dump trucks with a high Russian-Belarusian integration aspect - draw the attention of the exhibition visitors, including VIP-guests. In particular, the head of our company Sergey Nikiforovich told the Prime Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Golovchenko, Mikhail Mishustin and Alikhan Smailov, who visited our stand, about the development of import substitution, expansion of production and scientific and technical cooperation between BELAZ and Russian enterprises.

- Today the main task of the company is to provide the mining industry our key market – Russian Federation – with technologically independent product, - noted Sergey Nikiforovich. – One of the main results of such work we can surely say is BELAZ-75304 of flagship 220-ton family with the engine of Kolomna Plant, in and it is difficult to overestimate the role of Russian partners in its creation. This dump truck consists of more than 90% of components manufactured by the Union State enterprises and is already being tested in Kuzbass. The second and equally important union product is 130-tons dump truck BELAZ-7513M, which significantly stands out with not only high level of import-independence, but also completely other scheme of operation – hybrid, which uses a low-power YaMZ engine combined with batteries.

Industrial production is the driving force of cooperation between Belarus and the Sverdlovsk region. We have close cooperation, we create new projects and one of them is creation in the Republic of Belarus of a new cooperative production of high-capacity hydraulics by BELAZ and Sverdlovsk enterprise "Pneumostroymashina".

Besides in the first day of exhibition work BELAZ top-managers took part in business events of INNOPROM and had a number of important meetings and negotiations. The International Exhibition in the Urals will continue its work until July 13. There is a big business program ahead.
