Russian strategic partners of our company achieve the highest ore production results thanks to highly efficient operation of BELAZ extra-heavy dump trucks with a payload capacity of 130 and 240 tons.

Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Complex named after A.V. Varychev in the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly reached a historic milestone of two-billionth ton of iron ore. The anniversary bucket with two billion tons was loaded into the body of a 240-ton BELAZ truck in a festive atmosphere attended by veterans and best workers.

– "This happens only once in a lifetime," said the operator of the dump truck Vladimir Zharikov. "I’m honored to be entrusted with hauling the two-billionth ton of ore from the mine. I'm glad that is made history, of course, but the merit goes to everyone who works at the mine!"

Cooperation between BELAZ and Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Complex has spanned decades and continues to thrive. The iron ore mine’s fleet of technological transport consists primarily of BELAZ dump trucks with a payload capacity of 130 and 240 tons.

A little earlier, the personnel of 130-ton BELAZ trucks working at the Udokan deposit in Zabaikalsky Krai achieved a significant production achievement. The largest open pit mine in Russia of copper reserves has exceeded its target for daily transportation of rock mass. The production target now is at a previously inaccessible level – almost 150,000 cubic meters. The mine is being developed in the challenging geological conditions of permafrost. However the target was exceeded by 26%.

Today a large fleet of Belaz-7513 mining dump trucks with payload capacity 130T are operating in Udokan. By the end of the year, the Far Eastern enterprise will reinforce the fleet with eight new 240T BELAZ-7531 dump trucks.

Thanks to high performance, productivity, and reliability, modern BELAZ models in the most popular payload capacity classes ensure efficient and uninterrupted 24/7 transportation of rock mass in mines, enabling Russian mining companies to achieve the best results and break production records.
