This was discussed during the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Buryatia to our enterprise.

At BELAZ, guests from the Far East region of Russia observed the assembly of dump trucks with their own eyes, examined samples of manufactured equipment, and also test-driven one of our innovative developments – the BELAZ-7513M dump truck with a hybrid operating scheme, combining the best of the world of BELAZ innovations. Its uninterrupted operation is ensured by a lower-power diesel engine, as well as a power battery.

The parties discussed the prospects for expanding the partnership in the area of supplying quarry equipment, in which Buryatia, with its enormous potential in the extraction of coal, gold and non-ferrous metals, is very interested.

– In the Republic of Buryatia, coal is mined in large volumes. This is one of our main industries. And, of course, BELAZ quarry dump trucks are beyond competition there. We intend to increase the pace of our joint development, - emphasized the Head of the Republic and Chairman of the Government of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov at a meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Buryatia.

Over the past four years, 52 quarry dump trucks of various models have been delivered to Buryat mining enterprises. This year, thirteen 220-ton dump trucks were shipped to one of the largest coal mines in the region, and the delivery of six more heavy-duty trucks is being worked out. In total, the BELAZ fleet in Buryatia today numbers more than 200 units of equipment with a lifting capacity of 30 to 220 tons.
