Fr om 14 to 27 August thirty 13-14-year-olds will spend the last weeks of the summer in the Russian sanatorium "Cedrovy Bor" in the Kemerovo region.

- This is our first such project aimed at recreation and health improvement of children, which BELAZ implements together with one of its key partners in Kuzbass, - said the head of Department of Social protection of our company, Elena Fedicheva. – The relevant bilateral agreement was signed in June at the international exhibition in Novokuznetsk. The children will rest and gain strength in one of the best sanatorium of Kuzbass. During excursions, they will see for themselves wh ere and how our BELAZ trucks work. I would like to point out that parents only pay 10% of the cost of the children's flight, all other costs are covered by BELAZ.

Children of plant workers have already settled in convenient double room of forest resort, that is 30 km away fr om Kuzbass’ capital, Kemerovo, located in the most picturesque corner of the Cedar Park, on the shore of the lake, with its own organised beach.

Unique nature of Western Siberia, 5 course meal, mineral waters, solarium, sauna, wellness procedure, modern sport complex with swimming pool, tennis court and gym – what else do the younger generation need for great active rest!

An interesting excursion program will also help the children of BELAZ employees to gain new impressions. In particular, the children will visit one of the coal mines in Kuzbass, wh ere they will learn about the history of the development of open-pit coal mining in the region and its specifics, will be able to assess the scale of mining operations for transporting and beneficiation of black gold, and will observe how BELAZ dump trucks, created by their parents' hands, work.

According to the existing agreement, next year the children of Kuzbass miners will come to Belarus on a return visit for recreation and health improvement.
