New dump trucks will join the fleet of BELAZ mining equipment operating at Udokan, the largest copper deposit in Russia. Two BELAZ-7531 vehicles are being shipped to the Far East in July, and six more will be dispatched to the customer in August-September.

It should be noted that ten 130-ton BELAZ dump trucks were the first to go on duty at Udokan in 2022. The new delivery from BELAZ has even more powerful equipment. The 240-ton dump trucks will help the Transbaikal miners to increase the volume of industrial open-pit copper mining and ensure the efficiency of the Mining and Processing Complex.

The 240-ton dump trucks of BELAZ-7531 series are designed for reliable operation in the difficult mining, geological and climatic conditions of the Udokan quarry, located in the high-mountain region of the permafrost zone.

Integrated into the power frame of the cab, ROPS/FOPS and an advanced climate control will ensure safety and comfort of BELAZ operators, despite significant external temperature fluctuations throughout the year: at the peak of the seasons in Transbaikal there are from 50 degrees below zero to 35 degrees above zero.
