Our company organized the practice-oriented training within a month, from June 19 to July 17, in partnership with the BELAZ Trading House and one of the key consumers of its equipment in Kuzbass. The course participants with less than 5 years of experience in transportation of rock mass were divided into separate groups, and the training program for each of them was designed for three days and consisted of intensive theoretical and practical driving lessons.

BELAZ specialists, who have a high level of professional knowledge of mining equipment and skills in its safe operation, shared their experience with Kuzbass miners. The instructors taught the dump truck operators the peculiarities of driving and competent actions in emergency situations. They explained how to behave behind the wheel of mining equipment, how to minimize all possible risks, and how to use it in the most rational way.

The simulator modeled possible non-standard situations during vehicle operation and trained specific skills on how to avoid and getting out of such situations, for example, in case of fuel leakage or machine fire, skid control, and others. All this is very important, because skillful and timely actions of a professional operator affect not only the safety of movement of quarry machinery, but also the course of mining operations in general, - said one of the instructors of the training course, test driver of the experimental workshop of BELAZ Alexey Verbitsky.

Based on the results of vocational training, the miners passed the final test and received the relevant BELAZ certificates. The acquired experience will help employees of Kuzbass enterprises to improve production safety, the quality of their work, and, consequently, the efficiency of BELAZ quarry equipment operation.
