15 mining dump trucks of the BELAZ-7547 series with a payload capacity of 45 tons were shipped this year to the enterprises of the Russian company «Alrosa» - the world leader in terms of mining volume and proven diamond reserves.

Belarusian multi-ton trucks arrive in large units at the assembly site of the Mirny-Nyurba Mining and Processing Plant in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): separate cabins, modules, power units, platforms. Then assembly specialists, with the support of service engineers, make up this construction set.

Four new 45-ton BELAZ trucks at site have already been assembled and are ready to join the large-scale process of preparation for the extraction of rough diamonds at the new «Mayskaya» kimberlite pipe.

At the request of the consumer, BELAZ-75473 mining dump trucks delivered to the site are equipped with additional side canopies to protect the cab from falling stones and sides with special linings.

In general, 20 heavy-duty dump trucks are involved in transporting the waste rocks covering the diamond vein, which transport about 32 thousand cubic meters of overburden around the clock. In total, according to the calculations of Yakut diamond miners, BELAZ trucks will have to transport about 12 million cubic meters of rock during the preparatory work at «Mayskaya».

Dump trucks of the BELAZ-7547 series are proven mining equipment that can withstand large dynamic and static loads, are characterized by productivity, reliability, high maneuverability, ease of operation and maintenance. The use of such modern machines makes it possible to achieve efficient and uninterrupted transportation of rocks in open-pit diamond mines.
