In Orsha, BelAZ implemented a large-scale project to create ring-rolling production

A full import substitution of ring workpieces will be provided for BELAZ's own needs and for other enterprises in Belarus and Russia.

By implementing ring rolling technology, we will be able to produce high-quality solid rolled and profiled rings from steel of different brands with an outer diameter of 3 m and a weight of 3 tons with high quality and minimal allowance for subsequent machining.

As of today, such workpieces are not released in Belarus. These products are popular not only in the domestic market, but also in the Russian market, for example, in aircraft engines, nuclear power, shipbuilding, rocketry, carbuilding, and other industries.

The project includes the construction of a production and administration building, the installation of utilities, interior finishing and the construction of foundations for equipment. It is planned that the unique high-tech equipment of the automated ring billet production line will arrive in Orsha this year. Investment in the project will be approximately 200 million rubles.

The creation of a ring roll complex will be one of the steps for BELAZ to provide technological independence from import. In 2025, the production facility is expected to reach its full capacity
