“Invest-Uglesbyt” Company, where testing of gas BELAZ dump truck with payload capacity of 90 tons takes place, plans to purchase another 10 dump trucks.

BELAZ-7558H is the first mining dump truck in the world with payload capacity of 90 tons which operates on liquefied natural gas. Dump truck is equipped with gas piston engine, modern AC traction electric drive and corresponds with all the safety and ecological requirements.

From the summer of the last year the dump truck transports the coal in the mine of the company. During this period, stated advantages of the dump truck with gas equipment were proved in comparison with the diesel engine.

Operational savings of the gas dump truck for customers can be up to 30% due to differences in the price of diesel and gas fuel.

Less carbon buildup in the engine increases the life of the truck and reduces maintenance costs.

Another important advantage – convenience of gasification of mining equipment: one gas station can serve the whole fleet of gas dump trucks. Also tests showed that thanks to big criobox, BELAZ-7558H can operate long time without the brakes on refueling.
