More than 30 representatives of the leading mass media from Russia and Belarus visited BELAZ today

Alexey Grachyov, deputy general director for strategic development and corporative management, told to the representatives about the cooperation with Russian companies within the framework of the import substitution and promising BELAZ vehicles.

- Today we are running several significant joint innovation projects with partners from Russia that will effectively replace imports. In particular, 90 tons dump truck BELAZ-75588 with a gas turbine engine from Kaluga Engine Company is undergoing the plant tests. In a 130 tons payload capacity segment a promising development is BELAZ-7513M – dump truck with hybrid technology, which uses diesel-generator of low power from Yaroslavl Motor Plant and battery packs, - said Alexey Grachyov. – Together with partners from Russia we also created 220 tons dump truck BELAZ-75304 with Kolomna Plant engine, which is now being tested on the territory of plant. We expecting, that in April it will begin the operational tests at the customers in the Russian Federation.

During the visit mass-media representatives visited the museum and production halls, got acquainted with the products. A big surprise awaited them on the exhibition grounds of the production of super-heavy machines – not only the access to get on the deck of the biggest mining dump truck in the world with payload capacity of 450 tons, but also to see our innovations for the first time – BELAZ-75588 gas truck, as well as the “green” battery-powered dump truck BELAZ-7558E.
