Fine quality and high processing speed, full automation and improved efficiency, parts manufacture costs reduction – all this became possible due to two program-controlled processing centers put into operation in the workshop of hydraulic transmissions.

Replenishment of the factory machinery stock with high-tech equipment, made within the framework of implementation of the investment program for modernization of the BELAZ facilities, is fundamental for introduction of the latest technologies and manufacture of new types of products.

The two program-controlled horizontal processing centers in the hydraulic transmissions workshop play the key role in development of the technology of complex processing of crankcase parts of hydro-mechanical transmissions of BELAZ make.

The intended purpose of purchasing this large-scale equipment is fast and high-precision processing of parts of automatic hydro-mechanical transmission of planetary type, designed for new models of 55- and 90 - ton dump trucks as well as parts of hydro-mechanical transmission for serial 30-55-ton dump trucks.

Program-controlled centers give the possibility to implement a great number of the most complicated metal-cutting operations in automatic mode: plain milling, grooves, cradles and apertures milling, drilling, threading with cutters, etc. herewith securing high accuracy.

Application of multi-operational centers along with innovative cutting instruments shall upgrade the quality of processed parts of hydraulic transmissions, shall lower the labor coefficient and the prime cost of their manufacture up to 30%. Also at the account of lowering the routing of processing there shall be a possibility to reduce the inter-plant transportation.
