On August 25, a 130-ton signature BELAZ mining dump truck took over the watch at the open-pit mine "Koksovy" of JSC "Raspadskaya-Koksovaya".

This new mining giant was named after Egor Drozdetsky — the veteran of the coal company "Raspadskaya", the foreman of the mechanized brigade, the only person twice awarded the Hero of Socialist Labor in Kuzbass, and the holder of three degrees of the Miner's Glory badge. The equipment supply operator was the official BELAZ representative in the region — "BELAZ-24" company.

The naming of BELAZ quarry dump truck after the famous coal miner opened a series of events in Kuzbass region planned by BELAZ in honor of the main holiday of Kuzbass region — the Miner's Day.

Egor Drozdetsky devoted himself to working in the coal mining industry for 35 years. He was a Senior Foreman of Industrial Training at the Mining School No. 58 in Novosibirsk, a miner, a machinist at the mine "Abashevskaya 3-4" (renamed later on into "Nagornaya" mine) in Novokuznetsk. From 1957 to 1986, he worked as a cutter-loader operator, a foreman of the mechanized brigade at the mine "Polosukhinskaya". For his services to the region, he was also awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the city of Novokuznetsk".

The first-class crew of the open-pit mine, who knows all the ins and outs of heavy-duty equipment, is entrusted to operate the new BELAZ dump truck with such a legendary name.
