On the morning of Saturday, September 26, BELAZ’s restricted industrial complex was transformed—as is tradition—into a vibrant open-air festival with ceremonies, concerts, activity zones, and food courts. Thousands of guests of the plant were able to touch the powerful mining equipment and admire the professionalism of its creators.

The Doors Open Day 2026 started with a colorful awards ceremony honoring those whose daily efforts secure BELAZ’s leading position in the global market. Well-deserved diplomas of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, regional and city administrations, honorary titles, badges and personal commendations fr om the company have found their owners. On this festive day, hundreds of professionals inscribed their names in the history of the plant with the prestigious status of "BELAZ Veteran of Labor".

BELAZ's main strength is not ultra-strong steel or even engine power, but the people who put a unique plant code into the mining equipment. Every detail, every weld and line of software is the result of a fusion of the tremendous experience of veterans, creativity and courage of young engineers. It is this invisible connection between generations that makes multi-ton vehicles work as a single, well-functioning mechanism. Sergey Lesin, General Director of BELAZ, highlighted this in his address to the team:

– «Your hard work and dedication, perseverance and commitment to innovation are the very force that moves BELAZ forward through any challenges of the time," - the company’s leader noted in his address to the team.

Visitors could trace the plant’s 78-year history and the evolution of its extensive product range by touring the museum. Meanwhile, the legendary retro dump trucks of the past decades, modern flagships of the top series and the latest developments of our company were displayed in one row on the exhibition site.

The headliners of this autumn’s exhibition were new-generation underground mining equipment released under the company’s own brand: 17-tonne BELAZ-79550 load-haul dump unit and 45-tonne BELAZ-75855 underground dump truck.

In the same place, at the exhibition site, the winners of the "Draw BELAZ. Strength and power in colors" and the winners of the Youth Prize-2026. And a dance flash mob was held.

Fascinating routs of the Doors Open Day guided guests through the key BELAZ production facilities: the main assembly line workshop, machine-assembly workshop No. 1, aisle of the press workshop and the modernized workshop for assembly and testing of vehicles and recovery tractors—the very line that produces our flagship products: mining dump trucks with payload capacities from 130 to 240 tonnes.

The cultural program, which was running at maximum speed, did not leave a single chance for boredom. Musical sets and live sound from creative teams, street food outlets and interactive game locations connected the entire territory of the enterprise into a single educational and entertainment space wh ere everyone found something to their liking. Traditionally, the activity areas of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the BNTU-BELAZ handball club, the Torpedo-BELAZ football club, as well as the karting competitions, drew significant public interest.

As evening fell, the center of the festivities smoothly shifted to the Torpedo Stadium. There, amidst applause from the stands, BELAZ revealed the year’s most anticipated news by announcing the winners of the "Person of the Year 2026" corporate competition.

Recipients across various professional categories were presented with well-deserved awards. Management commended them for their expertise, outstanding production achievements, innovative approach, and initiative.

The celebratory evening concluded with an inspiring performance by the Sonorus musical ensemble and a spectacular pyrotechnic show that painted the night sky over Zhodino with hundreds of fiery constellations.
