Product of Union scale: a brand-new model in the line of the 220-tons BELAZ dump truck is currently being tested.

Mining dump truck BELAZ-75304 with engine of Kolomna Plant is free from import – almost all the components are from Belarus and Russia.

Kolomna designers according to technical brief of BELAZ colleagues developed the engine 16-36DG. New propulsion system is effective and efficient, just like the 220-tons giant. by the main technical characteristics four-stroke, 8-cylinder diesel engine with a full power of 2,400 hp is not inferior to imported analogues. Due to lower rpm diesel generator has a longer service life and has less maintenance cost.

The advantage of the vehicle is a pneumohydraulic suspension, which provides high smoothness, performance, side roll resistance, long service life of units and comfortable conditions for operator.

One of the technical features of the 220 tons dump truck with Kolomna engine is specially designed lightweight platform.

Specialists adjust the engine system and traction electric drive system as part of the plant tests, testing how well the machine's components work together. By the end of the summer, Kuzbass will see the beginning of the dump truck's exploitation tests.

BELAZ-75304 – is the third import-independent mining dump truck that was developed within the framework of Belarusian-Russian partnership. Reminding, that the first two products of union products – 130 tons hybrid dump truck BELAZ-7513M, which combines YaMZ diesel engine of low power with battery packs and energy recovery system, and also 90-tons BELAZ-75588 with gas-turbine engine KADVI also being tested at the plant test site.
