On October 3, our Company was visited by Mohammed Amine Cherkaoui, a prominent public and political figure of the Kingdom of Morocco, member of Royal Association, shareholder of one of the largest banks of Africa, Chairman of MDSC Holding Board of Directors operated in the field of hydrocarbons and energy.

BELAZ is the first enterprise in the extensive program of business meetings of the Moroccan delegation within the framework of its official visit to the Republic of Belarus. The foreign guest arrived to become familiar with the products of world-famous manufacturer of mining equipment and to hold a substantive discussion of possible variants of mutual cooperation.

Mohammed Amine Cherkaoui visited the factory’s museum where he got to know on the development of BELAZ mining equipment range and was greatly impressed by the rich and glorious history of the plant. The guest from Morocco got acquainted with the scale of production, the modern capabilities of the Company and life-size samples of manufactured equipment by visiting the thermo-galvanic workshop, the main conveyor, and the production facilities of ultra-heavy machines and the exhibition area of the plant.

During the business talks with Sergey Nikiforovich, General Director of BELAZ Company there were discussed the promising directions of cooperation in the field of promotion of our equipment to the most promising market of countries of African continent. The parties expressed confidence that the current visit to Belarus became a catalyst for the development of interaction between BELAZ and leading Moroccan companies in the implementation of joint mutually beneficial projects.
