From September 30 to October 2, BELAZ will showcase its cutting-edge technologies in mining equipment at the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus" in Minsk.
Robotic equipment production is a strategic foundation for BELAZ company’s growth over the coming decades. The focus is on in-house development and close cooperation with partners from the Union State. The future technologies, such as computer vision and neural network algorithms, allow robotic dump trucks not just to follow a program-defined route, but to "see" obstacles, predict trajectories, and make decisions independently in a split second. Driven by advanced dispatch systems, the equipment is capable of operating 24/7 under the supervision of operators in comfortable conditions far from the dust and noise of the face.
At the site of the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo", BELAZ and its partner InDev Solutions will present an operator’s worksite equipped with a remote-control system for mining equipment. During special demonstrations, invited guests, BELAZ equipment consumers, and partners of our company will see the robotic center in action. From our exhibition stand, the operator will be able to remotely control a 90-ton BELAZ-7558R autonomous mining dump truck operating hundreds of kilometers away – at the testing site at the deposit "Sitnitskoe" near Mikashevichy, Brest region.
In a routine mode, the advanced dispatch system enables one operator to monitor five autonomous machines simultaneously. Full monitoring and control capabilities are integrated into the operator control circuit: from selecting dump truck motion modes, switching cameras and lighting to the body lift/lowering and activating the emergency stop.
On October 1, the roadshow will be held at the Sitnitsa testing site during which the key consumers and partners will have the opportunity to observe the operation of a robotic dump truck under quarry operating conditions in person.
At the BELAZ stand in the Exhibition Centre "BelExpo", visitors will also be introduced to other innovative BELAZ solutions for the mining industry. The guests will be introduced to information on gas-powered, hydrogen, electric and hybrid dump trucks with a payload capacity ranging from 90 to 220 tons, as well as the cutting-edge developments for underground mining operations.
The "Hydrogen BELAZ" project developed in cooperation with H2 Engineering will also be presented at the exhibition. Visitors will be able to view a model of a hybrid hydrogen power system for a 220-ton mining dump truck, complete with hydrogen refueling infrastructure in depth.
BELAZ top management, headed by Sergei Lesin, General Director, will take place in the large business program "INNOPROM. Belarus". A number of important bilateral negotiations and meetings will take place on the exhibition venue.
On September 30 and October 2, during the plant visits in Zhodino, participants of the international exhibition will get acquainted with technological potential, production capacity, and products of BELAZ in detail.
