As part of its official visit to the Republic of Belarus on 13 February, our enterprise was visited by a delegation from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania under the leadership of Sergey Menyailo, the head of this North Caucasian republic.

During the meeting, the parties shared their mutual desire to develop fruitful relations and discussed promising areas and options for cooperation between BELAZ and enterprises of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in the field of production cooperation.

– There is interest both from us and from our Belarusian colleagues. The most important thing now is to turn this into a practical, step-by-step approach in all areas, including machine building, – said Sergey Menyailo.

According to the tradition of national hospitality, the delegation was welcomed at our enterprise with bread and salt, told about the glorious pages of BELAZ history and the present day of the world manufacturer of mining machinery

A commemorative gift from the Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania added to the collection of the BELAZ Museum.

Vasily Shostak, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Export Policy - Director of the BELAZ Marketing Centre, acquainted the Russian delegation with samples of commercially produced mining machinery and innovative developments of the company. The Head of North Ossetia was particularly impressed by the grandiose scale and high level of technology of BELAZ production.
