The annual summer marathon of corporate championships of professional skills in driving BELAZ mining dump trucks in Russia continued with competitions of BELAZ operators from coal mines of the Kuzbassrazrezugol Company..

The strategic partner of BELAZ determined the best of the best among the BELAZ drivers working in the Kemerovo region. For them, these competitions are a kind of finest hour where it is important to demonstrate all their knowledge, skills and the highest level of driving skills.

In the theoretical stage - everything that a professional BELAZ driver needs to know: the configuration of the dump truck, traffic rules, safety precautions and labor protection.

In practice, the ability of the steering virtuosos to maneuver on difficult sections of technological roads was tested. At the same time, the test was held in two separate nominations - in driving 130-ton and 220-ton dump trucks. The operators of the most popular BELAZ series among miners are 7513 and 7530 – performed a “snake”, then drove through the “gate”, stopped at the stop line, parked the dump truck in a reference box and took off from the spot to the finish line.
