The official handover ceremony of 10 BELAZ-7547 mining dump trucks with payload capacity of 45 tons to one of the mining companies in Lao Cai province was held on the 31st of August as part of the visit of Igor Sergeyenko, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

As was noted during the ceremony of handing over a dump truck symbolic key to the Vietnamese side, the supply of BELAZ dump trucks is an event that has special significance in the development of trade and economic relations between Belarus and Vietnam. BELAZ is a brand that has symbolized the power and modern achievements of Belarusian machine builders for many years. The products of the world manufacturer of mining equipment combine advanced technologies, high productivity and cost-effectiveness in operation.

– We are ready to continue sharing our advanced engineering technologies, conducting joint researches and personnel training, providing service maintenance to ensure that the operation of dump trucks is as efficient as possible. Deep cooperation in raw materials and technological chains can reduce the costs and increase the overall economic potential of our countries, - noted Igor Sergeyenko during the meeting with Trinh Xuan Truong, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Lao Cai Province.

Igor Sergeyenko arrived in Vietnam on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus to participate in the ceremonial events on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and the Independence Day, to be held on the 2nd of September.

The history of cooperation between BELAZ and the partners from Vietnam goes back three decades. In the provinces of Vietnam, BELAZ mining dump trucks with various payload capacities from 45 to 130 tons are effectively operated in the hot and humid mining conditions of the tropics of Southeast Asia.
