Under leadership of Dmitry Syrokvash the mining dump trucks with payload capacity of 27, 40, 75 tons were modernized and serial production of 110 and 180 ton machines was started. The capacities for manufacture of the heavy-duty and extra heavy-duty machines were commissioned. Dmitry Ivanovich was awarded the title of the USSR State Prize laureate, two Orders of the Red Banner of Labour, and the Order of the Badge of Honour.

- Today we are celebrating a significant event for our company - the production of the 5000th anniversary dump truck of BELAZ-7513 series. The number five thousand is very significant, it shows that 130-tonne dump trucks are in operation all over the world, almost on all continents and allow us to effectively engage in the heaviest industry - mining. This is a product that is in demand, needed and profitable for our partners today. This is another landmark named after a respected man who dedicated his life to our enterprise - Dmitry Ivanovich Syrokvash. Today we pay tribute to his memory and respect. The head of BELAZ has awarded the employees of the enterprise and presented them the symbolic key to the named dump truck to a representative of the company whose quarry the No. 5000 chassis will work in the Sakha Republic's diamond mines.
BELAZ confidently holds the leading positions on the world market in the segment of payload capacity of 130-136 tons, occupying 70% of the world supplies of this class of dump trucks. Due to the combination of its technical characteristics, high performance indicators and the optimal cost of ownership, 130 tons dump trucks of BELAZ-7513 series have become the most popular and in demand among the miners not only in the former soviet Union countries, but also among its borders.
The geography of supplies of these dump trucks covers almost the entire world: from Chile in South America and to Sakhalin in the East, from South Africa in the south of the African continent and to the Kola Peninsula in Northern Russia. Consumers of 130-tonne BELAZ trucks are mining companies in the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Vietnam, Mongolia, Indonesia and other countries around the world.
BELAZ has accumulated vast experience in the production of dump trucks of this payload class. The first prototype of BELAZ 130-tonner was designed and assembled at the end of the last century. The main model of the new range of dump trucks with electromechanical transmission BELAZ-75131 was launched in 1996. The development of this competitive machine was based on more than 15 years experience of its predecessors - BELAZ-7512 series dump trucks with payload capacity of 120 tons. At the end of 2002 BELAZ already delivered the hundredth number of BELAZ-75131 chassis to the supplier. After another 15 years the 3000th dump truck with payload capacity of 130 tons rolled off the factory assembly line.
The BELAZ-7513 series of dump trucks now includes 12 vehicle modifications. They are equipped with different versions of efficient diesel engines, from 1200 hp for shallow quarries up to 1600 hp for vehicles working in the most difficult conditions. BELAZ 130-ton trucks are equipped with classic AC-DC electromechanical transmissions as well as modern AC-AC EMTs.
High productivity, reliability in operation, simplicity and ease of maintenance and repair, safety and comfort for the operator - all this makes the BELAZ-7513 series mining dump trucks a profitable investment for any mining company.
It is on the basis of verified by decades of successful work BELAZ models of 130-ton dump trucks that our company creates prototypes of innovative equipment - robotized dump truck BELAZ-7513R, gas-diesel BELAZ-7513S, BELAZ-7513M in a hybrid diesel-electric version, it is planned to produce 130-ton gas-powered dump truck. On the chassis of this series of dump trucks were created and successfully operated specialized equipment for maintenance of mines - tow truck BELAZ-74131 and sprinkler truck BELAZ-76135.
