A new cabin of BELAZ mining dump truck is the result of painstaking work aimed at maximizing operator comfort in harsh conditions of equipment operation in mine. And for our partners, this is an opportunity to attract the best drivers, reduce costs and increase the overall success of the business.

The operator's efficiency directly depends on the ergonomics of the workplace, and that is why creating conditions for reducing physical and emotional stress has become the main goal of the project.

The design concept of the new cabin was developed based on detailed information received from more than 40 BELAZ dump truck drivers from around the world, including those with experience working with equipment from other manufacturers. Operators who spend 12 hours a day in the cabin provided valuable information on what they need for comfortable work. The plant's specialists collected and processed a huge amount of information to form a clear idea of the ideal workplace for a dump truck driver. This information formed the basis for the project to create a new generation cabin.

Three variants of layout and style solutions were developed in record time. The selected variant became the basis for creating a landing model, which was carefully assessed by representatives of the plant, and then by a focus group of 11 operators from different countries of the world invited to Belarus. Experienced operators of mining dump trucks noted its high ergonomics and innovative solutions. This is how a new cabin appeared, created by the joint efforts of those who produce it and those who operate it. It takes 383 days from the idea to its implementation in metal.

The new cabin has already been installed on BELAZ-7513D mining dump truck, which is undergoing tests at the plant's testing ground. In total, 57 key changes have been implemented in a new cabin - a depth-adjustable pedal unit, a 15% larger cabin windows, a cooled storage box, seats with three-point seat belts, a 10-inch tablet with a pre-installed intelligent monitoring system, and many other things.

Participants of BELAZ Operators Club Championship-2025 were the first to evaluate the innovative solutions of the new cabin. Operators noted a modern design, high level of convenience and improved visibility.

It is obvious that the manufacturer tried and really thought about us. Care is felt in every detail. The seats are very comfortable, even the passenger one is pneumatic! Good ergonomics, many digital technologies are used. It feels like a completely different cabin compared to the previous version. Everything is very stylish and modern! I am sure that this cabin has a great future!

BELAZ-7513D with a new cabin will soon be sent for operation to one of the open-pit mines of the Russian Federation. In 2026, based on the results of operation, BELAZ plans to launch serial production of dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 55 to 360 tons, equipped with a cabin of a new generation.

Thus, the new cabin of BELAZ mining dump truck is not just a technology, but a living result of the dialogue between the manufacturer and operators, embodied in comfort, high standards and innovative thinking.
