Mining dump trucks of the new model BELAZ-7558P are strengthening the fleet of vehicles of a large mining and processing complex for coal mining in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The first 90-ton BELAZ trucks of this model hit the technological roads last summer. During operation, the dump trucks have proven themselves to be efficient and reliable equipment. The Belarusian vehicles have received good feedbacks from the operators.

- The truck is soft, easy to operate. There were no breakdowns, we only perform the preventive maintenance so that the vehicle serves as long as possible, - said Alexander Tolchinachin, an operator of a 90-ton dump truck.

As a result, in order to solve serious production targets on a gradual increase in coal production volumes, the customer has added another 17 units of BELAZ-7558P dump trucks to its transport fleet.

The crews that will be entrusted to operate the trucks also participate in the assembly of new 90-ton vehicles. The assembly of one dump truck in harsh climatic conditions takes 10 days.

– I have good experience working on heavy trucks, but this is my first time participating in assembly. The vehicle is large, all the mechanisms and parts are heavy. But the thought that you will soon get behind the wheel of this giant is inspiring, – said Nikolai Bekin, another BELAZ operator.

BELAZ-7558P mining dump trucks are equipped with a cost effective diesel engine of 882 kW (1200 hp) power and an up-to-date AC electrical mechanical transmission. Dump trucks of this line are proven mining equipment that can withstand high dynamic and static loads. Such equipment is characterized by productivity, reliability, high flexibility and cornering ability, ease of control, simplicity of operation and maintenance.
