A delegation from the Chukotka Autonomous Area expressed interest in BELAZ mining equipment

The interest of this region of the Russian Federation in modern, reliable mining equipment adjusted to the challenging conditions of the Far North was discussed during a visit to BELAZ by Anton Yaremchuk, Deputy Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Area.

On December 16, guests fr om the Far East visited BELAZ production facilities, wh ere they learned about the assembly process and technologies used by the machine engineers. At the company's exhibition area, the representatives of the delegation showed their interest in performance characteristics and competitive advantages of BELAZ's serial-produced mining equipment.

Anton Yaremchuk was particularly impressed by the performance of our top-of-the-line BELAZ-7513 130-ton dump truck, which was demonstrated to the guests in motion.

During the business communication, the parties discussed possible options for expanding cooperation and expressed mutual interest in developing business contacts and continuing dialogue on promising joint projects aimed at supplying mining equipment of various payload capacities to leading mining companies in the Chukotka Autonomous Area.

The Chukotka Autonomous Area is one of the Russia's key mineral resource centers. Its subsoil contains rich deposits of gold, copper, coal, tin, and other minerals. BELAZ equipment fleet in the region currently includes 45-ton dump trucks, mining equipment, and special-purpose equipment.
