A business delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania, led by Mohamed Said Kiluwa, visited BELAZ. During the visit, the guests expressed a special interest in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Tanzanian industrialists visited BELAZ production workshops, where they were introduced to the assembly line and models of mass-produced mining dump trucks and special-purpose equipment.

Mohamed Said Kiluwa gladly accepted the offer to ride in the cab of a 130-ton BELAZ dump truck on the plant testing ground and was deeply impressed by the power of our mining equipment, the scale, and the technological advancements of the flagship of Belarusian mechanical engineering.

The negotiations took place in a positive atmosphere and a lot of potential cooperation formats with BELAZ were discussed. The African side expressed its readiness to further develop mutually beneficial relationship.

The United Republic of Tanzania, which is strategically located in the region, and the African market as a whole, are promising export destinations for BELAZ equipment. Tanzania is known for its industrial diamond, gold, and iron ore mining, and has significant potential for exploration and development of other minerals, particularly nickel and coal.
