An 8,000 square-meter exhibition area featuring signature models of mining equipment has opened. This project marks an important step in implementing a BELAZ industrial tourism development strategy and expanding the range of services offered.

The main goal of the new exhibition area is to make the BELAZ experience as comfortable, engaging, and informative as possible for tourists.

"Over 370,000 people have visited our enterprise over the years of the BELAZ industrial tourism project. We welcome an average of 7,000 visitors each month," notes Sergey Lesin, General Director of OJSC “BELAZ”. "For our guests, this is, first and foremost, an opportunity to visit places they would otherwise never be able to. It's an engaging experience and a chance to satisfy their curiosity by seeing the famous BELAZ dump trucks firsthand. I'm sure an addition of the new exhibition area to the tourist route will be one of the highlights of the program for true connoisseurs of the equipment."

The new BELAZ tourist area is a hallmark of the plant. It serves as a shining example of a progressive approach to developing industrial tourism at the enterprise. Our guests explore various sites and locations, actively participating in the tour. Photography enthusiasts will be especially delighted – here, surrounded by the mining giants, each photo will leave an unforgettable impression.

Even before its official opening, the exhibition area operated in test mode, quickly becoming a major attraction point for several thousand visitors. It showcases over a dozen key models of mining dump trucks and special-purpose equipment from BELAZ's extensive product line. Visitors can see the world-famous 450-ton dump truck, a Guinness World Record holder, appreciate the power and ruggedness of the 360-ton dump truck, the confidence and strength of the 130-ton dump truck, a holder of the State Quality Mark, and learn about the key features of other members of the BELAZ family. Special-purpose vehicles are also on display, including a front loader, an aircraft tug, a water sprinkling machine and other vintage equipment. There is also a mobile vending offering hot beverages, baked goods and pastries from the plant's pastry workshop for tourists to enjoy.

Having pioneered industrial tourism in the country's mechanical engineering industry more than ten years ago, BELAZ remains a recognized leader today, striving to improve and introduce new ideas and trends to the industrial tourism sector. For example, as early as 2026, the company's interactive exhibition area is planned to become even more functional: for visitors' convenience, a BELAZ SHOP pavilion will be added, featuring a wide range of branded products. A unique photo zone will also be set up, featuring vintage Soviet-era vehicles that once operated at our plant. A concept for another fascinating aspect of the plant's tourism infrastructure is currently under development: an observation deck with an open pit model and a view of the BELAZ assembly workshop.

During these pre-holiday days, participants of the New Year's animation program "In Search of the Magic Key" will have the opportunity to appreciate the scale and appeal of the new BELAZ location. This program continues to delight and amaze tourists of all ages from across Belarus and around the world. Enormous equipment with thousands of meters of garlands and other New Year's decorations, quests, contests, and dances around the main Christmas tree of the plant, surprises and gifts from Father Frost and the Snow Maiden – all of this creates an unforgettable atmosphere of celebration and fairytale.

"I visited BELAZ six years ago and I can tell there's nothing quite like it. The new exhibition area has truly become a highlight of the tour route. For us as tourists its opening has created a new place to explore and take pictures. Now, in my opinion, you can see almost the entire model range of BELAZ mining dump trucks, and it's very exciting. You'd want to come back again and again," shared Lyudmila Yagelo, teacher at the Secondary School No.8 of Lida named after V.F.Kazakov.
