BELAZ has optimized the logistics of receiving mixed tourist groups, improving the industrial tourism service. At the same time, the guided tour begins in a new convenient format – with the purchase of tickets and merchandise at the BELAZ SHOP, as well as a comfortable transfer to the plant from the bus station platform on a branded electric bus.

– "BELAZ welcomes 2-3 mixed tourist groups of up to 45 tourists each every day. Since August, for comfort of our visitors we have changed the starting point of the guided tour fr om the plant entrance to the BELAZ SHOP, located in the Zhodino Shopping Center. Even at the stage of the visit coordination, we suggest that our guests arrive at least half an hour to an hour before the start of the tour so that they can purchase entrance tickets and souvenir items in a relaxed atmosphere," said Kira Kruchkovskaya, head of the industrial tourism department at BELAZ

Shopping, transfer and no rush: how it works

Meeting in the city center. After pre-booking the arrival date and time with the BELAZ call center, guests gather at the appointed hour in the stylized BELAZ SHOP space located in the Zhodino Shopping Center (Lenin Avenue, 20) – within walking distance of the Zhodino bus station. By the way, it is also convenient to get there by private car – there are enough parking spaces.

We travel by eco-transport. After paying for the tour and familiarizing themselves with the range of branded products, tourists are picked up fr om the bus station by a special electric bus. This location of the starting point has a distinct advantage over the plant entrance with its strict access control: in the waiting room at the bus station, you can spend the time before the tour starts in total comfort.

On the way to the enterprise, guests are introduced to the city and its attractions, including the Monument to the Creators of Mining Dump Trucks and "Volat" genre sculpture.

The electric bus enters BELAZ through the main gates of the enterprise. The tourists are in a high feather, looking forward to seeing the equipment, the true scale of which can only be appreciated first-hand.

The tours have become more eventful

The atmosphere of hospitality is felt from the very first minutes of the visitors’ stay on the territory of the world’s leading mining equipment manufacturer. The time saved at the start of the tourist route allows for an increase in the number of tourist trips inside the BELAZ dump truck cabin. After all, this additional service is very popular among fans of the world-famous vehicles.

After the two-hour tour ends, tourists are returned to the city bus station, from wh ere everyone can visit the BELAZ SHOP again to take another chance to choose a memorable gift and take a piece of the legendary brand back home.

Please note: the logistics for receiving individual and organized tourist groups remain the same. They arrive at the enterprise in compliance with the current access regime.

Because it’s one of the top guided tours in Belarus – that’s what the AI assistant told us. And we saw it for ourselves. Two hours of an exciting tour just flew by! A year and a half of BELAZ SHOP: what’s in demand?

The BELAZ branded store in Zhodino has been delighting customers for a year and a half now, becoming one of the hot spots for city visitors. BELAZ SHOP offers branded products for all ages and budgets: from keychains, thermal mugs, and stationery to travel suitcases, stylish hoodies, and highly detailed collector’s models of dump trucks. But the main bestsellers are, of course, BELAZ boots, as well as souvenirs, T-shirts, caps, educational toys, and construction sets.

Not long ago, the industrial tourism project "BELAZ is the brand of Belarus", which has been running for 11 years, passed a significant milestone – more than 400000 tourists from several dozen countries around the world visited the enterprise! And today, interest in large trucks is extremely high: in the first 8 months of this year, BELAZ has already welcomed more than 57000 guests. At the beginning of September, 1714 tours had been conducted and 3883 trips for tourists had been made in the cabin of a 90-ton mining dump truck.

Continuous improvement of the service, with a focus on visitor comfort, and the opening of new attractive locations – such as BELAZ SHOP in Zhodino and Minsk (in Shopping Centre "First National Trading House"), as well as the impressively scaled and comprehensively equipped plant exhibition area for machinery – help the company confidently maintain its status as a leader in industrial tourism in Belarus and set high standards for the entire industry.
