Our company welcomed its 400,000th visitor, confirming its status as a leader in industrial tourism in Belarus and a powerful attraction capable of inspiring genuine admiration for the scale and achievements of Belarusian heavy engineering.

The anniversary guest was Maria Simonova, a mother of many children from Moscow. Our company presented her with commemorative gifts and a personalized certificate. Maria visited BELAZ with her husband and three sons. Typically, the male members of the family initiate such industrial excursions, but not in this case.

– "Visiting BELAZ plant was my dream!" – the 400,000th tourist emotionally recounts. "I was born in Tajikistan, where in the 1980s there was a large mining company called Tajikzoloto, where my uncle worked and where BELAZ trucks operated. We children would come there to see these enormous machines. At least, they seemed incredibly huge to me as a little girl. Although now I realize they certainly don't compare to the mining dump trucks we saw today at your exhibition site. I begged my uncle to take me for a ride on BELAZ, but it didn't work out. And now my dream has come true – I've taken a drive across a test ground in the cab of a modern 90-ton electric dump truck. I'm overwhelmed with positive emotions!"

In addition to a drive on a multi-ton BELAZ dump truck, powered almost silently by batteries, guests were introduced to the museum's unique exhibit, told about key milestones in the plant's history and its current achievements, and shown the production workshop with its conveyor for assembling mining trucks, allowing them to experience the pulse of real production. Tourists were also given the opportunity to go up onto the deck of a world-famous 450-ton Guinness World Record-holder, appreciate the power and brutality of a 360-ton truck, and the confidence and strength of a 130-ton truck, holder of the State Quality Mark of Belarus, compare these machines with retro technology, turning the tour into an exciting journey into the world of steel titans.

– "Such scale, such power, and such pride for the Belarusians who created this enterprise and these machines!" shares the anniversary visitor. "I think BELAZ has excellent prospects because it's working, developing, and is a worthy competitor to foreign mining equipment manufacturers. All of this deserves respect and admiration. Keep it up, don't lower the level, only forward and upward!"

The "BELAZ – Brand of Belarus" industrial tourism project has been running for over 10 years. Guided tours of our plant are extremely popular among industrial travel enthusiasts.
