On September 18, the 31st Central Asian International Exhibition "Mining Exploration & Mining Equipment" Mining & Metals Central Asia 2026 is concluding in Almaty. Kazakhstan’s largest industry forum has become a promising business platform for BELAZ to present high-tech products and innovations in this strategically significant region.

The BELAZ stand stylized as a dump truck platform, drew the attention of specialists, experts and guests from the first minutes of the exhibition. The visitors were presented with innovative solutions for the mining industry: gas-powered, hydrogen, electric, hybrid dump trucks with a payload capacity from 90 to 220 tons, as well as robotic mining vehicles. Of particular interest were the cutting-edge models of BELAZ open-pit mining equipment and modern underground mining equipment. The main objective of these developments is to make work in quarries and mines as cost-effective, safe and eco-friendly as possible.

The BELAZ delegation actively participated in the extensive business program of the industry forum, which was full of meetings and negotiations, laying a solid foundation for future mutually beneficial relations. This year, the forum at the "Atakent-Expo" exhibition complex united 533 companies from 28 countries around the world.

The stand’s bright interactive accent was the VR zone. Wearing augmented reality glasses, the guests could instantly "transfer" to the operating quarry, look into the dump truck cabin and observe the assembly of BELAZ dump trucks on the factory line.

Kazakhstan is one of the world leaders in mining and exporting minerals, and Belarusian mining equipment have long been synonymous with reliability here. Today, BELAZ dump trucks of various modifications, from maneuverable 30-ton dump trucks to 220-ton trucks, are successfully operated in coal mines and mines of the country.

The potential for cooperation with Central Asian enterprises is huge. BELAZ aims to increase export supplies of equipment and spare parts to the markets of the region’s states, and mutually beneficial industrial cooperation in engineering.
