The ceremonial excavation of the anniversary ton of coal, the honorable mission of which was entrusted to BELAZ 7558 series dump truck, took place at the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine, a branch of the Kuzbass Fuel Company.
The 90-ton truck was driven by Pavel Likhanin, an experienced driver who has been working on BELAZ dump truck of this payload capacity for 7 years, and his total experience as a miner at Vinogradovsky reached the 18-year milestone. Pavel is one of those operators who take care of their equipment, systematically checking and carefully maintaining its components and mechanisms, respectively, the vehicles entrusted to them perfectly cope with the tasks set.
BELAZ dump trucks of 7558 series have gained confidence of the miners with their high productivity, cost-effectiveness, and operational reliability. These dump trucks are equipped with powerful engines and modern electromechanical AC transmissions, have a proprietary BELAZ pneumohydraulic suspension, which ensures high smoothness and maneuverability, durability of components and comfortable working conditions for drivers.
The Vinogradovsky open-pit mine began developing the Karakan coal deposit in the Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation in August 2004. Mining dump trucks have already hauled over 200 million tons of coal from the mine, and how much overburden they have moved! Today, the Kuzbass Fuel Company, which includes the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine, operates BELAZ trucks with payload capacities ranging from 45 to 220 tons, continuing to ensure high coal production rates through efficient and uninterrupted transportation of rock mass 24/7.
