On September 4th, Alexander Turchin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, paid a working visit to BELAZ.

Sergei Lesin, General Director of OJSC "BELAZ", introduced the Prime Minister to the company’s manufacturing and export capacity, as well as modern manufacturing technologies for mining equipment. During the visit, Alexander Turchin toured the assembly line for 110–240-ton dump trucks, where he appreciated the high level of production process automation.

Flagship machinery models for underground and open-pit mining operation were presented to the Prime Minister at the exhibition site of the enterprise. Special attention was paid to the new underground loaders created for highly efficient operation in constrained spaces of mines in Russia’s Far North – the 45-ton BELAZ-75855 load-haul-dump (LHD) vehicle and the BELAZ-79550 LHD vehicle with the payload capacity of 17.2 tons. This is the brand-new product for our enterprise, created in close cooperation with Norilsk miners.

Furthermore, Alexander Turchin was presented the latest models of dump trucks: 130-ton gas and diesel BELAZ-7513W dump truck, 90-ton gas-powered BELAZ-7558H, the 100% electric 120-tonne BELAZ-7513Е and 130-ton hydrogen-powered BELAZ-7513V dump truck.

At the conclusion of the visit, a discussion was held on the financial and economic activities of the enterprise, cooperation projects, and the further development of the BELAZ’s export operations.
