After acceptance tests at the plant, BELAZ BX20012 went for operation to one of the open-pit mines of Russian Coal Mining Company “SUEK” in Siberia. For transportation to the destination, the excavator was disassembled into several large units, loaded onto railway platforms and sent on a long journey.

This is the same number of the guests as we received during the whole year of work at the dawn of the Project "BELAZ - Brand of Belarus" in 2015.

The running-in phase, which lasted about a month, came to an end today. During the entire period, BELAZ service team and mine employees tested the operation of heavy-duty special purpose mining equipment in a two-shift mode to ensure the adjustment of its systems for further industrial operation. In the test mode, the grader has already traveled almost 2,000 km, clearing and improving the access roads of the open-pit coal mine.

The center of the festival was the square of BELAZ Palace of culture, where two impressive 90-ton dump trucks were exhibited – the already familiar “tourist” dump truck in the colors and symbols of the Belarusian flag and its innovative brother, which uses liquefied natural gas as fuel. In addition to them, the attention of the audience was attracted by retro dump trucks and unique special equipment, including an aircraft tug and a slag carrier – piece goods that is manufactured to individual orders from metallurgical enterprises.

16 units of new BELAZ-7513D mining dump trucks, capable of taking up to 136 tons of rock on board in one trip, are starting transportation work at the Gross gold mine in the southwest of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

On July 29, BELAZ was visited by ambassadors, consuls general and chargés d’affaires ad interim of the Republic of Belarus abroad. The visit to BELAZ was arranged as part of the off-site event of the annual seminar of heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of our country which is currently taking place in Minsk.
