Responding to the demands of the Customers, BELAZ is not only preparing to launch the latest underground mining equipment powered by conventional diesel fuel, but is also developing innovative models running on alternative fuels. Design, testing, and improvement of mining equipment is carried out in close collaboration with Russian mining and metallurgical company Norilsk Nickel, which has significant experience in underground transport operations.
BELAZ demonstrated its high technological potential in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. On June 6, the first international exhibition Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026 ended in Bishkek, with the participation of companies from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries.
During the premiere showcase of the BELAZ-7530R gas-powered dump truck at the "Ugol Rossii & Mining 2026" exhibition, currently taking place in Kuzbass, a special emphasis is placed on the next-generation cab with its meticulously designed ergonomics.
The highlight of the International Mining Technology Exhibition "Coal of Russia and Mining 2026," opened on June 2 in Novokuznetsk, was the first showing of BELAZ-7530P – a 220-tonne mining dump truck powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The new BELAZ-75855 underground truck, designed specifically for complex mining operations, has been added to the line of equipment for underground work. This newly-designed truck received a Russian engine, a reinforced frame, smart electronics and an upgraded cabin. The 45-ton underground truck is being tested at the factory before being shipped to the consumer.
IThe ceremonial excavation of the anniversary ton of coal, the honorable mission of which was entrusted to BELAZ 7558 series dump truck, took place at the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine, a branch of the Kuzbass Fuel Company.
