At the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2026 in Yekaterinburg, OJSC BELAZ and MMC Norilsk Nickel signed an agreement for the supply of the latest models of BELAZ underground equipment for pilot testing.

The companies signed a letter of intent to conclude a contract by the end of 2026 for the supply of 86 diesel engines manufactured by the Urals Diesel Engine Plant (UDMZ, a subsidiary of the Sinara – Transport Machines holding). The engines are designed for 220-ton BELAZ mining dump trucks.

From July 6 to 9, at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2026 in the Urals, BELAZ is showcasing an interactive exhibition area that merges industrial power, innovation, and a modern exhibition format into a cohesive image of a high-tech global brand of mining equipment.

Today, June 29, marks exactly 25 years since a landmark event not only for BELAZ but also for the entire domestic mechanical engineering industry – the awarding of the prestigious title of "Hero of Belarus" to Pavel Mariev, who headed our plant from 1992 to 2007.

The BELAZ-7513D mining dump truck, with a payload capacity of up to 136 tons, has been awarded this prestigious status. This modern, highly efficient vehicle was one of the first to be included in the Union State Register of Industrial Products.

BELAZ has become one of the central and most visited industrial venues at the 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. This major international event, dedicated to strengthening bilateral cooperation, is being hosted by Minsk and Minsk Region on June 25–26.
